MLK Day of Service

On January 20, 2014, the Unionville-Chadds Ford School District will celebrate the national holiday honoring the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. by making it “A DAY ON, NOT A DAY OFF.” Although schools will be closed for educational purposes, the schools will be open for those who choose to volunteer their time for the “MLK, Jr. DAY OF SERVICE.” On this day there will be several volunteer opportunities within our district for parents, staff, and students to serve our community.  Patton students will have the opportunity to assist at the annual cleanup day at Anson B.
