November's Art After School

It's November’s “Art After School” with Mrs. Ferron! Students will be making white clay pie plates and decorations for the Patton Pride Children’s Christmas Tree Display at Longwood Gardens. It will be held on Tuesdays and Wednesday afternoons this month due to Thanksgiving. It starts November 9 so get registered today. For a form, click here.

It's Spirit Week!

Don't forget! This week is Patton Spirit Week!! Monday is Halloween, Tuesday is Fancy Clothes Day, Wednesday is PJ Day, Thursday is Sports Teams, Friday is Color Wars -- 8th is Black, 7th is Blue, 6th is White! Focus on STEM Night!

To All High School and Middle School Parents and Students! Learn about STEM careers and the great educational resources and opportunities that are available in our community to help launch and pursue your passions! The much anticipated "FOCUS on STEM" Night will take place this Thursday from 6:30 to 8:30, starting in the UHS Auditorium. In the first hour you will learn from experts - folks with field experience, top educators and students as well.  The diverse panel will share their expertise and respond to questions from the audience. After the panel discussion we will host an open house.  Students and parents will have access the panelists as well as the the Tech Lab, a robotics demonstrations and the UHS Crime Scene Investigation lab! After School Library

Are you aware that your school library is open after school on Mondays through Thursdays from 2:30-4:45 during the fall (now through November 17, 2016), winter and spring sports seasons Students are welcome to stay after school to complete homework, conduct research, and/or read. Students staying after school, are expected to be supervised by an adult at all times, therefore they need to be in their school sponsored activity or in the library. Students are not permitted in classrooms or the hallway after school without teacher or administrator permission. All school rules apply to after school library use. Students needing a ride home from school are encouraged to take advantage of the After School Activities Bus, which leaves Patton at 5:00 and UHS at 5:15. Patton Parent University!

We held our first Parent University of the year on October 6. Principal Tim Hoffman and John Walsh presented "Chromebooks and Canvas" to parents at the PTO Meeting. If you were unable to attend, there will be an encore presentation at our night time Parent University on October 20 at 7 PM in the Patton auditorium.
