Art After School

Last month Art After School kids had a blast painting pumpkins and carving jack-o-lanterns. Join Mrs. Ferron for November's session starting next Tuesday. November's theme is Art and Nature! We will be spending time outside gathering natural materials and then using them to make decorations and crafts for the Fall season. Check out this link for the registration information.

Parent Visitation Day

We are excited about our upcoming Parent Visitation Day! We have an awesome school filled with amazing kids, wonderful teachers, caring support staff and challenging curricula. We are Patton Proud and we welcome the opportunity to showcase our school. Please join us on Friday, October 27 for Parent Visitation Day. This is your opportunity to get a first hand glimpse of “a day in the life of a middle schooler.” Parents are invited to join us beginning at 8:00AM and ending at 2:00PM. Next Week is Spirit Week!

NEXT week is our FIRST SPIRIT WEEK of the year! Monday will be PJs Day, Tuesday is Halloween, Wednesday is PATTON Day, Thursday is Sports Day and Friday is Color Wars and our first Spirit Rally -- 6th wears red, 7th wears is white, 8th wears blue. ALL week we will be collecting gift cards for our sister school in Texas affected by Hurricane Harvey. The following gift cards are recommended: Lowes, Home Depot, Amazon, Ace Hardware, Walmart, Target, JC Penny and Bed Bath and Beyond. Thank you!!

After School Pickup

If your student has to wait to be picked up from after school activities, please have them report to the library. The library is open to all middle school students until 5:00 pm. And as you know, the activities bus service will end on November 16, 2017, at the end of the fall season. The rationale for this recommendation is that this service is not self-funding. Patton Book Fair!

Saddle Up and Read at the Patton Wild West Book Fair from Friday, Oct. 20th through Friday, Oct. 27th, 8am – 3pm. Gallop on over and explore this exciting collection of fun, engaging, and affordable books! There will be new and favorite authors, popular series, adventure, sci-fi, mystery, reference books and much more. We look forward to seeing you as we explore this new reading frontier! Family Movie Night!

Come to the 1st Annual Fall Family Movie Night outdoors at Patton this Friday, October 20th from 5:30-8:30 pm. Tickets at the door- $5 per person or $20 for a family of 5 or more. Concessions and drinks available for sale! The movie will be "E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial"! This is a family event - all children must be supervised by a parent or guardian during the entire event.
