October Art After School

It's pumpkin time in the Art Room! October's Art After School kids will be making red clay pumpkin pie plates and painting pumpkins with sugar skull designs! Registration forms are available here.

Sixth Grade Mixer!

It’s mixer time! Grab all your friends and come to the 50’s Sock Hop 6th Grade Mixer on Friday October 13 from 3-4:30 pm. There will be food, music, games, and fun times for all. You won’t want to miss it. 50’s theme costumes are optional and there will be a costume contest! Tickets cost just $5.00 and will be on sale during 6th grade lunch on 10/10, 10/11, 10/12, and 10/13.

STEM Night at UHS

Our second annual STEM night at Unionville High School is on October 4, 2017, from 6:30-8:30 PM. Our school district is collaborating with the Chester County Intermediate Unit to provide this experience for our community. The evening is for families of middle school and high school students. Participants will learn about: Careers in the STEM related fields, real world experiences from professionals working in the field today and STEM education in action in our schools.

Breakthrough Video Contest!

Is your child great at explaining math or science concepts? They could win a $250,000 scholarship! Khan Academy is proud to support the Breakthrough Junior Challenge video contest again this year. To enter, your child should create a short (under three minutes) video explaining a challenging concept in physics, mathematics, or the life sciences in an engaging, illuminating, and creative way. Chester County Walks Day!

September 23 is Chester County Walks Day! In the week running up to Chester County Walk Days we are asking all students in Chester County to week walk (or run) a mile and log the steps toward our one BILLION step goal.
