A Big Thank You!
Thank you to everyone for your support of the Giving Tree. The charity event took place on Saturday. Over 625 needy families will have a much better Christmas because of the work we do here at Patton. Each family that was invited received a box of canned/dried food as well as a turkey or chicken for a family feast. They were also able to choose from our refurbished bikes, gifts and coats. Together, we have made a difference in the lives of others less fortunate this holiday season!

Baking Bread Program
On Friday, December 6, 2013, Charles F. Patton Middle School 6th and 7th grade students participated in the King Arthur Flour Life Skills Bread Baking Program® and learned that with a little math and science, a little baking instruction, and some good flour, they can bake delicious bread from scratch! Everyone benefitted: your “newly-inspired baker” experienced the satisfaction of helping others as students brought in over 300 loaves of bread on Monday and they were donated to Safe Harbor. Thanks!
