Positive Impact!
On Tuesday, December 22nd, the 8th grade students and staff engaged in a day of improving communication, problem-solving skills, and building relationships at Neumann University. Built on the foundation of a Full Value Contract, students and staff promised to keep each other safe in body and spirit as they experienced situations where the value of put ups replaced the very human fault of put downs. As group dynamics expert, and leader for the day, Craig Erb explained to our students, "The same challenges which you faced today in these activities are the same challenges that you will face in school, in relationships, and in the workplace. The same solutions which you faced today in these activities are the same solutions that you will use in school, in relationships, and in the workplace." As a staff, we are so pleased with the effort and engagement of our students on this trip--so many laughs, smiles, and positive energy were generated in a unique out-of-the-classroom experience!
