Cascarones (confetti eggs) are a Mexican tradition seen around Easter, Cinco de Mayo and during town festivals. Students in Sra. M's Spanish classes participated in their own version of the tradition this spring by decorating confetti-filled eggs with their own unique designs, and then breaking them over a classmate's head. It is believed that having a cascaron broken over your head brings you good luck!
