Safe Sitter® classes will be held at Patton Middle School on Tuesdays from 2:30 PM—3:30 PM beginning September 16. Safe Sitter® is a program that teaches young teens (11-14) everything they need to know to be safe when they’re home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting. Students will learn life-saving skills such as how to rescue someone who’s choking, and helpful information like what to do if there’s severe weather. The lessons are filled with fun activities and role-playing exercises. The Class fee is $180. To register, visit
