The Patton "Shark Tank"

Patton Middle School had their own "Shark Tank" based on the popular TV show. Mrs. Remphrey's Honors Geometry students worked in groups to present their ideas for packaging to the "Patton Chocolate Company Board of Directors". The groups attempted to convince the board that their idea for packaging the chocolate was the most profitable for the company.  Using several different sample 3D figures they made in class, the students had to calculate surface area and volume then use them to defend their choice.  They also created mascots and sample packaging. They had to make sure their presentation was entertaining for the "sharks" too.  Coco Loco, Cyli, Genius, Choco Cone, Critter Sweets, Peace Chocolates, and the Patton Chocolates did a great job!
