After School Library

Are you aware that your school library is open after school on Mondays through Thursdays from 2:30-4:45 during the fall (now through November 17, 2016), winter and spring sports seasons Students are welcome to stay after school to complete homework, conduct research, and/or read. Students staying after school, are expected to be supervised by an adult at all times, therefore they need to be in their school sponsored activity or in the library. Students are not permitted in classrooms or the hallway after school without teacher or administrator permission. All school rules apply to after school library use. Students needing a ride home from school are encouraged to take advantage of the After School Activities Bus, which leaves Patton at 5:00 and UHS at 5:15. Parent Visitation Day!

Welcome to the Charles F. Patton Middle School's Parent Visitation Day - “A Day in the Life of a Middle Schooler” - on October 26! We are proud of our many teachers and support staff. Teaching is our business and we believe we do our jobs very well. You are welcome to tour the building throughout the day, but please remember to observe the following guidelines to make sure the day goes smoothly.

Art After School - October

It's time for October’s “Art After School” with Mrs. Ferron! Make a beautiful fall gift for your family. Learn to Make Wreaths with Natural Materials. There will only be four afternoons this month due to October’s holidays -- Tuesday and Wednesdays after school until 4:00 PM on 10/18, 10/19, 10/25 and 10/26. Patton Parent University!

We held our first Parent University of the year on October 6. Principal Tim Hoffman and John Walsh presented "Chromebooks and Canvas" to parents at the PTO Meeting. If you were unable to attend, there will be an encore presentation at our night time Parent University on October 20 at 7 PM in the Patton auditorium. Attention parents! When writing bus notes, remind your child that bus notes MUST be turned in during Advisory at the start of the day to allow staff to process notes for dismissal. Thank you for your cooperation!

Magazine Drive

FRIDAY is the official last day of Magazine Madness.  Please make sure you bring in all your remaining magazine order forms and money to the main office NO LATER than Friday and place in the collection box.  No order forms will be accepted without the money.  You still have 4 days to get those orders into the office and sold online in order to earn your prize points to earn prizes from the Prize Brochure which will be handed out next week to you. If you have not started earning orders yet, please get online right away at www.APMAGS.com to register and send out those emails inviting your family and family friends to support you and Patton Middle School.
